The native macOS application itself collects zero personal information. It runs entirely on your device. We do not require accounts, email addresses, or any form of registration.

The only data that ever leaves your Mac is completely optional and anonymous:

  • Crash reports (if you choose to send them)
  • Anonymous performance metrics (disabled by default)

2. Website Analytics

Our website (alcovenotch.com) uses minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how visitors use the site. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

3. Your Rights

Under GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy laws, you have the right to:

  • Access any data we hold about you (we hold almost none)
  • Request deletion of any data
  • Opt out of any analytics collection
